Go4CSGO kickoff cup cancelled

ESL has cancelled the Go4CSGO kickoff tournament due to technical problems after the last update.

Eight teams were supposed to play ESL's Go4CSGO kickoff tournament, set to start at 18:00 . The start of the tournament was heavily delayed to begin with, which was due to server side issues. In the end the admin team decided to cancel the tournament.

The admin team released following regarding the cancelation:

"We are very sorry to cancel the tournament. Right now, it's not possible to have all players, streamers and admins on a server at a time. With the latest changes we had to face unexpected technical problems in the beta of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We spent the last days testing everything but with the last update from Friday problems occurred never seen before. So we are left with no other option then cancel the tournament and delay it to any other time. We are very sorry for the spent time of the teams, streamers and viewers."

Go4CSGO will return, as ESL has plans to run a €100 weekly tournament, with a monthly final for €500.
